Barloworld’s fleet management program consists of leading technology and services that enable companies to contain their fleet costs, improve material handling productivity and throughput, increase lift truck utilization and uptime, reduce or eliminate abuse charges and improve safety. Customers can choose one or a collection of program products and services – each designed to build upon the other to provide increasing benefit to our customers 

I. Barloworld’s FLEET WIZARD telemetry device provides access to a secure Web portal for central visibility into equipment, financial and maintenance information to support timely and accurate fleet management decisions. The first tier in this customer offering includes reporting on:

• Equipment cost per hour
• Equipment utilization
• Invoice history
• Periodic maintenance status
• Maintenance cost-tracking
• Equipment inventory
• Hour meter readings (manual entry)

All data can be exported to Microsoft Excel for further analysis.

The second tier provides Visibility PLUS real time Data Collection for up-to-the-moment monitoring of automated readings, including hour meters and impact occurrences by piece of equipment.

The third tier includes not only Visibility and Data Collection but also lets you control equipment and operators through Fleet Wizard’s Access Control Module (ACM), a HMI (Human-Machine Interface and Control) device mounted to the lift truck cab.

II. OPERATOR SOURCING services provide trained and certified equipment operators sourced by Barloworld to operate lift trucks at your facility. No more worrying about operator attrition, retention and reliability; seasonal demands; and equipment abuse. Barloworld Integrated Solutions Operator Sourcing program leverages our own operator training and performance management system and offers a “pay by productivity” option.

III. TRAINING for operators and service technicians can be a hassle. Utilizing Barloworld’s comprehensive training programs ensure efficient, effective and safe truck operators and prepare in-house technicians to quickly and accurately perform repairs and maintenance work.

IV. Scheduled MAINTENANCE and inspection programs are tailored for your needs, with the goal of maintaining equipment in proper working order. And parts, labor and travel expenses for repairs due to breakdowns as well as normal wear and tear are included.

V. CENTRALIZED fleet SERVICES and administration from Barloworld lets you take advantage of cost containment and administrative efficiencies by utilizing:

• Centralized service, parts and rental requests
• Uniform quoting and approval process
